How private are my notes?
Your notes are encrypted on your device before they're uploaded, and they're stored encrypted in the cloud. That includes embedded photos, which live inside the note itself. Sync and storage are protected in transit and at rest.
What if I'm offline when a note is due to reveal?
The reveal is driven by the date, not the network. Open the app and any note whose time has passed is already unsealed, no connection required. The reveal notification is scheduled ahead of time, so as long as your device receives it, it fires on the day; if you were fully offline, you'll simply see the note waiting for you, revealed, next time you look.

Can I unseal a note early?
The seal is meant as a gentle commitment device. The whole point is to let a note wait. In the app a sealed note keeps its contents masked until its date arrives, so the reveal stays a genuine surprise. Think of it less as a lock you fight and more as a promise to your future self.
